RUPINDER GILL

Mr. Gill has over two decades of experience of leading teams in the building of distributed systems using plain-old TCP-sockets, CORBA, UDP, SOA, even SFTP, JMS, and HTTP for a diverse group of enterprises.

Starting with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) at Pasadena, California, where he helped build a state-of-the-art near real-time event distribution system (middleware) to function over United States Army’s tactical radio networks, Mr. Gill has been acutely focused on efficient distribution of data over global enterprise networks, where long-distance bandwidth is a premium resource, round trip time (RTT) between two remote units may be in seconds, and long periods of network segmentation are common.

At Ironhawk, Mr. Gill’s team built the new Ironhawk SmartSync® line of software products to be out-of-the-box ready at required technology readiness levels (TRL) to significantly reduce network footprint of disparate enterprise workflows, yet nimble in design and configuration to allow transparent injection of SmartSync® state-of-the-art delta-compression into legacy data transfers.  Mr. Gill has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas.
