DAVID GOMES

David Gomes is the president & CEO of Ironhawk Technologies, Inc., which he founded in 2001 (under the name Integrated Data Corporation or IDC). With over 20 years’ experience, twelve at the helm of Ironhawk, he has directed the day-to-day operations and led key strategic growth initiatives focused on the company’s core commercial and defense-based markets. He has further overseen the overall strategy and development of Ironhawk’s proprietary intellectual property, and ensured visibility for the firm throughout the global defense, intelligence, and aerospace markets. Under Mr. Gomes’ direction, Ironhawk continues to generate record growth and profit for shareholders.

Equally important is Mr. Gomes’s leadership in planning, directing and managing government affairs: he represents Ironhawk to federal government agencies and the United States Congress. In this capacity, he reviews federal budgets and policies that may impact business, and works directly with federal agencies and representatives from Congress. He also maintains solid working relationships with the Washington, DC representatives of prime contractors, subcontractors, vendors and other trade associations of relevant defense, intelligence, and aerospace firms and organizations.

Formerly, Mr. Gomes was a top sales and marketing executive at Stryker Corporation, where he held the position of vice president of business development at Optimize, Inc. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and a master’s degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Mr. Gomes has also successfully completed executive education courses in finance and mergers & acquisitions at the Harvard University School of Business and the Wharton School of Business.
