SmartSync® HTTPS Gateway

SmartSync® HTTPS Gateway provides HTTP 1.1 compliant Reverse Proxy function to enable SmartSync® compression of existing HTTP transactions between SmartSync® enabled clients and backend origin-servers. Features include automatic SmartSync® compression (including byte-level delta compression) of response payloads of HTTP GET/POST requests from SmartSync® enabled HTTP clients, intelligent resume of interrupted HTTP GET/POST response payloads to SmartSync® enabled HTTP clients, and straight pass-thru of HTTP transactions originating from non-SmartSync® HTTP clients. SmartSync® HTTPS Proxy

SmartSync® HTTPS Proxy provides HTTP 1.1 compliant Forward Proxy function to enable SmartSync® compression of existing HTTP transactions (redirected through the forward proxy) with origin-servers fronted by SmartSync® HTTPS Gateway. Features include automatic SmartSync® compression (including byte-level delta) of request payloads of HTTP POST and PUT requests to SmartSync® fronted origin-servers. Cost is per annual license. SmartSync® HTTPS Client Agents

A SmartSync® HTTPS Client Agent embeds the functions of SmartSync® HTTPS Proxy inside an iOS, Android, or Windows mobile device to automatically and transparently support SmartSync® enhancement of HTTP and HTTPS transactions originating from any App on the device.
