Based in Detroit, Mr. Theodore is a Partner of Wynnchurch Capital, a Chicago based private equity firm with $500 million under management for control equity investments in middle market, industrial manufacturing and service businesses facing complex operational performance and financial issues. As a private equity investor for over twenty years Mr. Theodore has acquired, financed and improved the operational performance of industrial companies throughout North and South America, and Europe.

Prior to joining Wynnchurch in 2005, Mr. Theodore was a Managing Director with Questor, a private equity firm affiliated with Alix Partners. Prior to joining Questor in 2000, Mr. Theodore was a co-founder and principal of Kamm Theodore, LLC, and a principal of Kidd, Kamm & Company LP, private equity firms that invested in high-potential businesses in partnership with successful, industry focused management.

Mr. Theodore’s current board positions include SafeWorks Inc., Henniges Automotive, and Highway Technologies Inc. He has also previously served on the of Breuners Home Furnishings Corporation, Bristol Farms, Millennium Rail Corporation, Renaissance Cosmetics, Inc., TK Aluminum Ltd. and Wright Medical Corporation. He has also served in numerous interim management positions within portfolio companies. Mr. Theodore has extensive experience in all aspects of private and public leveraged finance, both in the United States and internationally. Mr. Theodore received his bachelor’s degree in business economics from UCLA.
